This is just until the talented Michael W. Smith uploads his professional version. I recorded this off my TV while tuned into FOX News with my iPhone X, so audio is not of high buy his song & download his official video when available. Aside from President George W. Bush’s & Senator Allen Simpson’s AWESOME eulogies at President George H. W. Bush’s funeral today at the beautiful Washington Cathedral, singer & Christian artist Michael W. Smith made it “magical” when he sang his classic hit “Friends Are Friends Forever” live with the military choir...HE WAS SO OUTSTANDING. As one of my most favorite songs of all time since the late 1980s, I know every word. So when Michael W. Smith hit “every single” pause & inflection as originally recorded, I was MORE than IMPRESSED!!! The two times Mr. Smith winced out of pure love & emotion to his lyrics showed by reflection, how deeply he feels about the overall message about this beautiful song, & how much he misses his Forever Friend, our 41st U.S. President George H. W. Bush. I am personally glad that ALL the leaders in attendance got to hear this song that I feel is the core of explaining the best of human relationships. As a friend of the Mize family in Gallatin, TN, I have been told that Michael W. Smith, a local of the Nashville, TN area is an incredibly “GOOD” gentleman & is a loyal and dedicated family man. I looked into it & found that Michael W. Smith became a personal friend of President George H. W. Bush and there is a nice photo of them together...just Google for more details. I love President George H. W. Bush “even MORE” now that I know this BEAUTIFUL song of loving, loyal friendship, always was a favorite song of his too. Pretty cool! God Bless YOU Michael W. Smith. Your performance was the “cherry on top” for a classy, honorable, loving, & appropriately intimate farewell to our beloved U.S. President George H. W. Bush. 🙏❤️
